最も怖いホラー映画ランキング【韓国映画編】

韓国のホラー映画は意外と知られていないものや、あまり興味のない方が多いと思いますが、実際に見ますと、本当に恐怖の作品が多いです。最も怖く、興味深かった映画は、「殺人の告白」です。実話のようです。未解決事件で時効になった後に、自分が犯人と名乗り出てきた男性をメインに、ストーリーが思わぬ方向に展開していくところが、ハラハラとダークな映像に恐怖感に襲われます。

韓国では2003年、日本では2004年に公開された映画「箪笥」を紹介します。物語は精神科医と患者と思しき少女の場面から始まります。医師の優しい問いかけにも俯き、何も答えない彼女はふと何かを思い出す様に外を眺めるのです。その後のどかな風景へと舞台は切り替わり、先程の少女と父親がとある屋敷にやって来ます。そこには彼女の妹もいて、姉妹の継母もいて二人を出迎えてくれます。この屋敷では次々に怪奇現象が起こるのですが、徐々にその原因がわかってきます。過去に少女の妹と亡き実母に何が起きたのかが分かり、タイトルの「箪笥」へ繋がるのです。彼女が精神科にいた理由も判明しますが、怖さよりどこか悲しい余韻が残る映画です。

奇談。三つのエピソードに分けられてるホラー映画ですが、ホラー映画独特の薄暗い雰囲気や映画の演出も怖いです。病院が背景になるのも個人的には怖いですが、一番怖かったのはあのエピソード2に出て来るお母さんのお化けが登場するシーンです。あれは本当に怖すぎて未だに忘れられないです。

「霊リョン」という映画が一番怖かったです。真っ白い顔の女性のビジュアルが怖すぎます。色々な伏線が徐々に繋がっていくストーリー自体も面白いですし、暗く陰湿な雰囲気と音楽が恐怖心を煽ります。封印していた記憶がこんなんだったらどうしようという怖さもあります。

最も印象に残っているのは韓国映画の「箪笥」です。数々起こる恐ろしく残忍なシーン。妹を折檻する継母の存在も恐怖ですが，登場人物が何を考えているのか全く分からない。感情が見えません。そのため，得体の知れない恐怖を感じます。そしてラストも衝撃的でした。怖いだけでは無く，感情的にも切なく追い込まれるのでより一層恐怖を覚えます。
